The Not Shit Promise
You clicked The Not Shit Promise. Fair enough. Here’s what it is.
When you see that little stamp on a page, it means I wrote that page myself. By hand. Every word. No AI within a mile of it.
Which, if I’m honest, makes it a bit of a rarity round here. Most of this website is written by AI. The project pages, the little summaries, the daft themes that rearrange themselves every time I commit. I’ve trained it to sound like me, and then I’ve let it crack on. Sorry about that. Efficiency, or something.
But the actual writing? The essays, the bits where I’m genuinely trying to say something rather than just describe a thing I made? That’s all me. Always will be. And I’ll tell you which is which, every time. No pretending it’s all my own clever work.
That’s the whole promise. When the stamp’s there, it’s me. When it isn’t, the machine had a hand in it. It felt like the only honest way to build a website like this.
